Individual Psychotherapy and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Bayberry is currently an in-network provider for BCBS of Rhode Island. Bayberry may qualify as an out-of-network provider for insurance plans that provide out-of-network benefits. If you plan on using insurance to cover the charges of our services, it is important to contact your insurance company before beginning therapy to determine if behavioral health benefits are available through your plan. If you decide to use your insurance, please check your coverage carefully by asking your plan’s representative the following questions:

  • Do I have behavioral health benefits?

  • What is my annual deductible?

  • How many individual or group sessions does my plan cover per calendar year?

  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?

  • What are my out-of-network behavioral health benefits for an office visit?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?

Note: Your plan representative may tell you the percentage of the “reasonable rate” they reimburse. What the insurance company considers a “reasonable rate” can be less than the cost of our services.

Ease of Payment And Insurance Reimbursement

We accept credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, checks, and cash with payment paid in full at the time of the session. For in-network insurance, the co-pay and/or deductible will be expected at the time of the session and the claim will be submitted to your insurance provider. All persons served will be asked to keep a credit card on file to be used for co-pay and deductible charges.

Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, Community Plans

Bayberry is not contracted with Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, or community health plans to provide services or bill for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not make it to your scheduled appointment, and you have not given at least 48 hours' notice in advance (two full business days), you’ll be responsible for paying the full cost of the session as booked.

Clinical Consultation and Supervision

Clinical consult and supervision rates and terms will vary depending on the needs of the individual therapist. Clinical consultation is typically conducted as a group session for which the consult fee is reflective of the group approach. In the event of an individual consultation, rates are consistent with individual therapy. Supervision is typically done as a one-on-one interaction. Rates are consistent with individual therapy.
